This is a remote Level 3 Emergency Department which usually sees between ***** presentations a day.
ED Rostering: Day shift: Incharg A *********, 2IC "B" *********, Evening Incharge "A" *********, 2IC "B" *********************, Night: Incharg "A" *********, RMO *********
Other than for the night RMO shift, the locum shifts all require the ability for confident independent practice and management of most cases. Around 20% of presentations are paediatric cases. The Emergency Department is a designated Mental Health Facility and receives scheduled patients from the community.
