About the role:
This is a hands-on accounting role where your work directly supports sound financial decision-making across the dealership and contributes to the broader performance of Frizelle Sunshine Automotive.
Your day-to-day will include:
Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports, giving you visibility across the full dealership operation
Reconciling balance sheet accounts and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger
Managing accounts payable and receivable functions, keeping the business running smoothly
Assisting with statutory reporting, BAS preparation, and compliance obligations
Working closely with department managers to provide financial insight that helps them make informed decisions
Contributing to the annual budgeting and forecasting process alongside the wider finance team
About you:
You bring solid accounting foundations and the confidence to manage competing priorities without losing attention to detail.
More about you:
A relevant accounting qualification such as a degree in Accounting or Finance is essential
Experience in a dealership or automotive environment will be highly regarded and help you settle in quickly
Strong working knowledge of accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Familiarity with DMS platforms, ideally Pentana or similar, is a genuine advantage
Clear communication skills that allow you to translate financial data into plain language for non-finance colleagues
A methodical, accurate approach to your work, with the discipline to meet reporting deadlines consistently
