The Role

has an exciting opportunity for an
Assistant Restaurant Manager
to join our passionate Food & Beverage team.
As
Assistant Restaurant Manager
, you will play a key role in leading daily restaurant operations while supporting the delivery of exceptional events and premium guest experiences.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and broader Food & Beverage leadership team, you will help create a seamless service environment that reflects the high standards and personalised hospitality for which Kingsford is renowned.

The role and key duties...
Support the day-to-day operation of Orleana Restaurant and Food & Beverage services.
Oversee the delivery of all events, ensuring seamless setup, service and pack down.
Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Ensure service standards consistently reflect Kingsford's luxury positioning.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
Manage guest feedback professionally and proactively resolve service issues.
Support rostering, training, stock control, and operational administration.
Maintain compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, and workplace health and safety requirements.
You'll thrive in this role if you have...
Previous experience in a leadership role within events, restaurants, or hotels environments.
Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including restaurant and event service standards.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a rapid-paced, high-pressure environment.
A talent for customer service with a vibrant and outgoing nature;
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to operational excellence.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by the business.
