What You'll Be Doing
As a Community OT, you'll help clients improve independence, function, and quality of life within their own homes and communities.
Your caseload will be varied and may include:
Functional assessments and ADL support
Capacity building programs in home and community settings
Home modifications and assistive technology prescription
Neurorehabilitation (stroke, ABI, cerebral palsy, progressive conditions)
Care coordination and client advocacy across NDIS, Aged Care,



DVA, and other funding streams
You'll work across a diverse community caseload including:
NDIS
Support at Home (formerly HCP)
DVA
Private Health
Workcover
About You
You may be early in your OT career or looking to take the next step.
Either way, you're passionate about community-based care and making a real impact.
We're looking for someone who has:
Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy
Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
Minimum 1–2 years' experience preferred
Community or NDIS experience highly regarded (but not essential)
Strong communication skills and a genuine people-focused approach
Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
You must also have (or be eligible to obtain):
A valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
An NDIS Worker Screening Check
