Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth's Naval Shipbuilding Plan.
ANI is responsible designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, and operating and maintaining common use facilities.
ANI plays a pivotal role in delivering Australia's naval shipbuilding capability, contributing to one of the nation's most significant and complex infrastructure programs.
Based in Adelaide, our work underpins the future of naval shipbuilding through world-class infrastructure at Osborne.
ANI has an opportunity for an experienced Digital Engineering Manager to join our Digital Engineering function in Adelaide.
Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will drive the implementation, governance and continuous improvement of digital engineering across ANI's programs and projects.
You will work closely with project teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, IT and Security to strengthen digital delivery, model and data quality, information management and asset handover outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Implement and continuously improve ANI's Digital Engineering strategy, requirements and governance across major programs and projects
Deliver digital engineering outcomes across the NPSCY program, supporting design coordination, construction readiness and asset information handover
Oversee the quality and compliance of digital deliverables, including models, drawings, structured data and asset information
Coordinate digital engineering interfaces across project teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, IT and Security to resolve delivery issues and maintain effective workflows
Identify and implement improvements to digital engineering tools, systems and processes that strengthen information quality, efficiency and operational readiness
About You:




You will be an experienced digital engineering professional with strong technical judgement and the ability to operate confidently across complex, multidisciplinary project environments.
You will combine practical delivery capability with strong stakeholder management, bringing a structured and collaborative approach to digital governance, information quality and project outcomes.
You will also have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, digital engineering, information management, architecture or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Proven capability across digital engineering, BIM or information management within complex infrastructure or construction environments.
Deep knowledge of Common Data Environments, model coordination, structured data and asset information handover.
Demonstrated ability to implement digital engineering requirements, management plans and supplier deliverables.
Excellent stakeholder and communication skills, with the confidence to influence multidisciplinary teams.
