The Strategic Workforce Intelligence Specialist will enable ASC to understand the external landscape of economic, labour and commercial markets as they directly and indirectly impact the workforce supply for the future of ASC Programs.
/n
The role will support, drive and deliver workforce supply insights directly into the ASC Workforce Strategy through plans supporting various internal and external stakeholders about the organisation's ability to build the workforce capability needed to meet program milestones.
This role is responsible for delivering strategic, actionable intelligence that supports workforce planning and informed decision making across all time horizons.

By leveraging external labour market research and collaborating with internal stakeholders who engage with the labour market and education providers, it enables ASC to pivot effectively, strengthen key initiatives, and enhance planning efforts across the organisation.

An essential element of this role is fostering strong partnerships with People & Culture teams including sourcing and talent acquisition,
shaping workforce-related initiatives and informing robust business case development across the organisation.
This role is suitable for someone who thrives in a complex, multidisciplinary workplace and brings a sharp, analytical mindset to every challenge. You hold a tertiary qualification in Economics, Commerce, Business, or Human Resources or possess equivalent experience that demonstrates your depth of expertise.
You're skilled at researching and validating information across multiple sources, and you know how to interpret workforce composition and organisational structures across industries with precision.

Your understanding of Strategic Workforce Planning principles is second to none, and you're confident in applying long-term strategic practices that drive real impact. You communicate clearly and effectively across diverse teams, align with key partners, and deliver insights that inform smarter decisions.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance. Whilst we will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
