Your new company

This growing Australian company that operates in a range of markets is seeking a Payroll Officer to join their small finance team on a full-time permanent basis. The position will require the successful applicant to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (38 hours per week). The position will be based in their Brisbane Northside offices in Caboolture, which offers plenty of on-site car parking.

Your current role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:

- Hands on weekly payroll processing
- Award and employment agreement interpretation
- Reviewing payroll information
- Payroll reconciliations and payroll reporting
- Identify and implement process improvement as required
- Liaising with employees regarding payroll queries

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful,



you will meet the following requirements:

- Previous experience in an end-to-end payroll position
- Experience with MYOB
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Strong systems and Excel skills
