Job description

Trojan Recruitment Group is currently seeking a General Hand with a Forklift Ticket to join our client based in Revesby. Our client produces and supplies bitumen-based products and related materials used across road construction, surfacing and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate a counterbalance forklift as required.
- Perform general hand, yard and production duties.
- Operate machinery used in the production and handling of hot liquids and materials.
- Use power tools, hand tools and other production equipment.
- Assist with general manufacturing and production processes.
- Follow site safety procedures, particularly when working around hot materials and industrial equipment.
- Maintain a clean and protected work area.
- Be adaptable and willing to undertake training on other plant and equipment as required.

Key Requirements:

- Current forklift licence with proven counterbalance forklift experience.
- Previous experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, chemical or industrial environments highly regarded.
- Comfortable working around hot materials, machinery and production equipment.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures.
- Willingness to work 10-hour shifts.
- Open to training and development on additional plant and equipment.
- Willingness to work different shifts, including transitioning between day and night shift when required.




- Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends.
- Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test and Police Check.
