Project Manager - Cybersecurity Portfolio

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, governance, and delivery oversight of a portfolio of cybersecurity initiatives. This role will work closely with technology and business stakeholders to establish a structured cybersecurity programme, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, resourced, and delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and assess current and proposed cybersecurity projects, initiatives, and operational improvement activities.
- Develop and maintain an integrated cybersecurity roadmap, delivery plan, and prioritised programme of work.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to prioritise initiatives based on risk, compliance requirements, business needs, dependencies, and resource availability.
- Identify and plan resource requirements, including internal teams, contractors, and external service providers.
- Prepare project estimates, schedules, budgets, and resource plans across the cybersecurity portfolio.
- Coordinate and monitor delivery activities, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Establish governance, reporting, and performance tracking frameworks to monitor progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and costs.




- Ensure alignment with organisational strategy, technology roadmaps, risk frameworks, and regulatory obligations.
- Provide regular status reporting and strategic recommendations relating to priorities, delivery risks, resource constraints, and investment requirements.

Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience managing complex IT or cybersecurity programmes and projects.
- Robust stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and governance skills.
- Experience in portfolio planning, resource management, budgeting, and risk management.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and drive delivery across multiple initiatives.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
