We're now looking for a Group Operations Manager to join our Brisbane team on a 12 month fixed-term contract, covering a period of maternity leave.

About the role
The Group Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operational, governance and business support functions across the Troocoo Group. This role drives operational excellence, organisational compliance, workforce governance and the strategic initiatives that support our continued growth, performance and scalability.

As a key member of the leadership team, you'll partner closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to strengthen operational capability, mitigate organisational risk, enhance the employee and contractor experience, and drive commercially effective business operations. You'll also play a key role in business transformation, leveraging technology, systems, AI and continuous improvement to lift organisational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading operational strategy, scalable processes and continuous improvement across the business
- Overseeing enterprise-wide governance, compliance and risk management frameworks
- Leading WHS governance, incident oversight and psychosocial safety initiatives
- Driving business transformation, technology and automation projects




- Providing strategic leadership across contractor operations and workforce governance
- Leading and developing the Operations and Contractor Experience teams
- Overseeing People Operations across the employee lifecycle
- Managing strategic third-party and vendor relationships
- Leading the end-to-end bids and tenders function across the Group
- Overseeing operational budgeting, facilities and resource planning
- Leading business continuity and disaster recovery planning

About you
You're an experienced operations leader who thrives on building scalable, compliant and high-performing business functions. You bring strong commercial acumen alongside a genuine people first approach, and you're comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels. You'll ideally bring:

- Proven experience in a senior operations, governance or business support leadership role, ideally within recruitment, professional services or a similar people-based industry
- Strong knowledge of workforce compliance, including Fair Work, labour hire and contractor governance requirements
- Experience leading WHS, risk and organisational governance frameworks
- A track record of leading business transformation, systems or process improvement initiatives
- Solid stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Executive and Founder level
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
- Availability to commit to the full 12 month contract term
