Your new role:
This is an opportunity to provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist consultancy in safety and quality, clinical governance, helping strengthen systems that support safe, contemporary and evidence-based patient care across Bayside Health Service. You will:
- Provide advanced clinical expertise and consultancy across clinical governance, patient safety and quality, working autonomously and collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Lead and contribute to clinical incident management, quality improvement, risk management, clinical redesign, accreditation and initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.
- Develop, implement and evaluate evidence-based policies, guidelines, procedures and clinical practices while supporting education, mentoring, research and workforce development.
- Influence innovation and change through strong communication, negotiation and professional leadership, helping build a culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced and influential Registered Nurse who can combine advanced clinical knowledge with strong governance, leadership and quality improvement capability.
- You bring advanced knowledge and experience in quality and safety nursing practice, clinical governance and patient safety, including clinical incident management.
- You demonstrate highly developed clinical judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills and can manage complex issues across multiple work areas.
- You have experience applying the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards,
undertaking gap analysis, quality improvement and accreditation activities.
- You are a collaborative and confident clinical leader who can influence stakeholders, build positive team cultures and translate evidence into meaningful improvements in practice.
