This not-for-profit organisation is dedicated to delivering meaningful services that make a positive impact across the community. Due to an increase in workforce initiatives and operational priorities, an experienced HR Business Partner is required to join the People & Culture team on an initial 6-month contract.

Your new role: As a trusted HR Business Partner, you will support leaders across a diverse workforce, providing pragmatic and commercially sound HR advice while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industrial instruments.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Partnering with managers on employee relations and performance management matters
- Managing workplace investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes
- Providing expert advice on the interpretation and application of SCHADS Awards and employment legislation
- Supporting organisational change initiatives and workforce planning activities
- Coaching leaders on people management best practice
- Assisting with policy development, compliance and workforce risk management
- Contributing to employee engagement and culture initiatives
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive positive people outcomes

What you'll need to succeed:





- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or equivalent
- Strong employee relations expertise, including managing complex casework
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying the SCHADS Award
- Experience within the not-for-profit, community services, disability, aged care or healthcare sectors will be highly regarded
- Sound understanding of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and contemporary HR practices
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and evolving environment
