Who We Are

Offshore Services Australasia (OSA) is the leading supplier of helicopters services to the Australian Offshore industry. We operate multiple helicopter types from several bases throughout Australia providing support to several major oil and gas producers.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and safety-focused Ramp/Stores Assistant to join our OSA Offshore Operations based at Mungalalu-Truscott, Western Australia. Due to the roster and travel arrangements associated with the role, the ideal candidate will be based in or willing to relocate to Broome, Western Australia.

This is a permanent, full-time touring position operating on a 15 days on / 13 days off roster. Reporting to the Base Manager and Stores Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting safe and efficient aircraft operations through the coordination of ramp, ground handling, stores, and logistics activities.

The successful candidate will contribute to daily flying operations by preparing aircraft, handling baggage and freight, assisting passengers, maintaining stores inventory, and ensuring the protected operation of equipment and facilities. Working closely with flight crew, engineers, and operational personnel, you will help deliver reliable and compliant aviation services while promoting a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support the safe and efficient completion of ground handling and ramp activities in line with operational requirements, safety standards and Company procedures.
- Prepare aircraft prior to departure and following arrival, including aircraft cleaning, configuration changes, securing and presentation to support daily flying operations.
- Safely load and unload passengers, baggage, freight and equipment on aircraft in accordance with load control, weight and balance, and safety requirements.
- Provide ramp and ground support to flight crew, engineering and operations, including aircraft towing, marshalling and assistance during departures and arrivals.
- Assist operations with passenger handling, including issuing and managing passenger life vests, supporting briefings, and escorting passengers as required.
- Maintain hangar, ramp and stores areas to required housekeeping, cleanliness and safety standards, ensuring equipment and work areas are serviceable and compliant.




- Undertake stores and logistics support activities, including receiving and dispatch of goods, binning and replenishment, issuing parts, and updating inventory records in AMOS.
- Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods requirements where applicable, including handling, storage, documentation and maintenance of required authorities.
- Operate and maintain ground support equipment, machinery and vehicles, including forklift operations where licensed.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, operations and base personnel to support serviceability, maintenance coordination and operational priorities.
- Perform other duties as required to support the business.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

About You

Essential Requirements:

- Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or site-specific security clearance.
- Current Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in an operational aviation environment, including manual handling, working outdoors, and working around aircraft.
- Basic communication skills sufficient to work effectively with flight crew, engineers, operations staff and passengers.
- Ability to work rostered hours and adapt to operational requirements.

Desirable Qualifications / Experience:
- Previous experience in ramp operations, aviation ground handling, logistics, warehousing, or a similar operational environment.
- Experience working around fixed-wing and/or rotary-wing aircraft.
- Dangerous Goods training and/or Dangerous Goods Acceptance Authority.
- Experience using inventory, maintenance or operational systems (e.g. AMOS or similar).
- Current ASIC card.
- Previous experience operating ground support equipment or vehicles in a regulated environment.
