Based with a local council in Melbourne's north-east, you'll be part of a skilled sports turf team responsible for maintaining premium sports fields and facilities enjoyed by the local community.

Your new role

As a Sports Turf Groundsperson & Tractor Operator, you'll help maintain and renovate sports fields, cricket wickets, and associated assets. Key duties include:

- Operating tractors, front-end loaders, and turf maintenance equipment.
- Performing turf maintenance, including aeration, top dressing, fertilising, oversowing, and spraying.
- Assisting with the preparation and upkeep of cricket wickets and sports fields.
- Maintaining irrigation and drainage systems.
- Supporting seasonal sports ground changeovers and asset maintenance.

What you'll need to succeed

- Certificate III in Turf Management or relevant industry experience.
- Experience operating tractors, front-end loaders,



and turf maintenance machinery.
- Strong knowledge of sports turf management practices.
- Medium Rigid (MR) Licence.
- White Card.

What you'll get in return

- $45 per hour + super.
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.
- Two months work with the potential for extension
- Hands-on role maintaining high-quality sporting facilities used by the local community.
