An established financial services organisation is seeking customer-focused individuals to join their customer service team on a casual basis. Supporting a network of branches across Adelaide's northern suburbs, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the banking sector while developing valuable customer service and sales skills.

Your new role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will provide frontline support to customers across multiple branch locations. You'll assist with everyday banking transactions, deliver exceptional service, and identify opportunities to connect customers with specialist services where appropriate.

Key responsibilities include:

- Processing cash transactions and everyday banking activities
- Providing qualified and efficient customer service
- Assisting customers with enquiries and account-related requests
- Identifying customer needs and referring them to specialist banking services
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to compliance requirements
- Supporting branch operations and administrative tasks
- Contributing to service and sales targets through quality customer interactions
- Working across a range of branch locations as required

This is a true casual position supporting multiple branch locations across Adelaide's northern suburbs. While rosters are generally provided approximately one week in advance, candidates must be comfortable accepting shifts at short notice to support operational requirements. Flexibility is essential, as work may be required across different branch locations depending on customer demand and staffing needs.

What you'll need to succeed





To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales, hospitality, insurance, banking, or another customer-facing environment
- Confidence handling cash transactions and working in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working towards KPIs, sales targets, or service goals
- The ability to identify opportunities and make appropriate customer referrals
- A professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within banking or financial services
- Reliable transport and the ability to travel between branch locations when required
- Full availability Monday to Friday and flexibility to work across varying days and locations
