iOS Engineer - AI Commerce Platform || 6 Months Contract with High Possibility of extension

Location: Melbourne CBD

Your new role We're seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to build AI-powered commerce applications that deliver seamless customer experiences across product discovery, shopping, checkout, and order tracking. You'll work with modern iOS technologies and cloud-native Azure services to create scalable, high-performing mobile solutions.

What you'll need to succeed Develop native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
Build commerce features including product search, cart, checkout, and order management.
Integrate AI-powered capabilities such as conversational assistants, recommendations, and intelligent search.
Consume and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and Azure cloud services.
Implement secure authentication, biometric login, and payment integrations including Apple Pay.
Optimize application performance, offline capabilities, and user experience.
Implement push notifications, deep linking, analytics,



and telemetry.
Contribute to testing, App Store releases, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

5-8 years of native iOS development experience.
Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and iOS architecture patterns (MVVM preferred).
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and cloud-based backend services.
Hands-on experience with async/await, Combine, and modern mobile development practices.
Strong understanding of mobile security, performance optimization, and App Store deployment.
