Fantastic opportunity with one of most Australia's most reputed logistics brand (our client). Due to business growth, there are opportunities for experienced Transport supervisors / schedulers / planners to lead their day-to-day transport operations.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet & Driver Allocation: Allocate prime movers and trailers to meet operational needs, set transparent departure schedules, and manage driver rosters in strict alignment with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and WA Fatigue Management rules.
Full Employee Lifecycle: Handle recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and conflict resolution in partnership with People & Capability.
Operational Accuracy: Oversee scanning, manifesting, and receiving depot communications to ensure on-time service delivery and issue resolution.
Compliance & Safety: Participate in incident investigations, enforce safety standards, and track mandatory license renewals and medical checks.
Rotational Support: Participate in weekend work and act as designated after-hours contact on a rotational basis.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
2+ years' experience within a fast paced environment preferably within transport & logistics
Problem solving, forecasting, planning, scheduling experience essential
Strong knowledge of WA Fatigue Management, CoR obligations, and freight movement processes
