Practice Information:
This well-respected allied health provider operates across multiple locations throughout South Brisbane and the Scenic Rim. The multidisciplinary team includes physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, dietitians, remedial massage therapists and traditional Chinese acupuncturists.

Job tasks and responsibilities include:
Working with an experienced multidisciplinary allied health team.
Assessing and managing clients with chronic disease, musculoskeletal conditions, sporting injuries, disabilities, neurological conditions and complex health presentations.
Developing and delivering individualised exercise programs to support health, rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
Prescribing safe and effective exercise interventions for clients across a range of funding streams including NDIS, DVA, WorkCover, CTP and private patients.
Conducting functional assessments and monitoring client progress against treatment goals.
Supporting clients with injury prevention, health promotion and chronic disease management.
Consulting with other health professionals regarding client needs and progress.
Providing education and guidance to clients and their families regarding exercise and self-management strategies.
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records.
Developing and implementing preventative health and wellness programs.
Assisting with administration and marketing activities including newsletters, articles, photography and social media.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Exercise Physiology.
Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) accreditation with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Current driver's licence.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Strong time management skills and ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with physiotherapists, allied health professionals and administrative staff.
