We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to join a major maritime infrastructure project based in Rockingham, WA.
This is a long-term prospect working on a significant infrastructure project, with an initial duration of two years.
The role is available ASAP, with candidates required to have a maximum two-week notice period.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate electrical engineering activities across the project
- Provide technical support and engineering leadership to project delivery teams
- Oversee electrical construction works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards and safety requirements
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project stakeholders
- Review technical documentation, drawings and project deliverables
- Assist with planning, programming, procurement and project reporting
- Identify and resolve technical issues throughout construction
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards

About You

To be considered, you will have:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proven electrical construction experience
- Strong LV/HV experience
- Previous experience in a Senior Project Engineer or similar project engineering role
- Experience working across major construction, infrastructure or industrial projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach to project delivery and problem solving
- Current Australian driver's licence
- White Card

Security & Eligibility Requirements

Due to the nature of the project,



candidates must be Australian citizens and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
Successful candidates will also be required to complete relevant security and pre-employment screening, including:

- Police clearance
- Medical assessment
- Drug and alcohol screening
- Additional project-specific security requirements

Project Details

- Location: Rockingham, WA
- Project: Major Maritime Infrastructure
- Duration: 2 years
- Rate: $80-$90 per hour + Super
- Hours: Monday - Friday
- Working hours: 6:30am - 5:00pm
- Start: ASAP
- Notice period: Maximum 2 weeks
- Engagement: Labour hire, with potential to transition to a fixed-term arrangement for the project duration
