Reel Mower Solutions WA is a locally owned and operated outdoor power equipment business based in East Rockingham. We specialise in the servicing, repair and sharpening of cylinder mowers, along with the servicing and repair of a wide range of outdoor power equipment.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Small Engine Mechanic to join our team and take an active role in the day-to-day operation of our workshop.

This position would suit a motivated, experienced and self-managed mechanic who enjoys being trusted to get on with the job, organise their workload and deliver a high standard of workmanship.

You will be responsible for:

- Servicing, diagnosing and repairing small engines and outdoor power equipment.

- Servicing and repairing lawn mowers, cylinder mowers, chainsaws, brushcutters, blowers and other outdoor power equipment.

- Diagnosing mechanical faults and determining appropriate repairs.

- Cylinder mower servicing, repairs and sharpening.

- Preparing current equipment for customers.

- Managing and prioritising workshop jobs.

- Accurately recording work completed, parts used and repair requirements.

- Liaising with customers regarding servicing and repairs.

- Assisting customers at the front counter as required.

- Providing advice on equipment, parts and servicing.

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop.

- Working independently while also contributing to the wider business.





- Ordering and installing spare parts and accessories as required.

- Providing excellent customer service and advice, including loading and unloading machines for customers.

- Working as part of a friendly and professional team.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Be reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.

- Has strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

- Can work independently with minimal supervision.

- Is organised and capable of managing their own workload.

- Has excellent attention to detail.

- Has good communication and customer service skills.

- Is comfortable dealing directly with customers.

- Can confidently work both in the workshop and on the front counter.

- Has a positive attitude and is willing to contribute to a small business environment

- Takes ownership of jobs from diagnosis through to completion

- Holds a current Australian driver's licence
