Your new role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Deputy Principal - Middle and Senior School Operations and the Deputy Principal - Strategic Projects, People and Culture.
This pivotal role will see you delivering confidential executive, administrative, and project support while acting as a key liaison across the school's leadership team. You will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Deputy Principals' offices through effective coordination of calendars, communications, events, projects, and stakeholder relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Deputy Principals
- Managing complex calendars, appointments, meetings, and school commitments
- Preparing reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, and correspondence
- Managing enquiries, communications, and confidential documentation with discretion
- Coordinating meetings, workshops, leadership activities, and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Supporting academic administration, reporting cycles, timetabling, and curriculum-related processes
- Assisting with major school events including assemblies, information evenings, Speech Night, chapels, and staff events
- Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and document management practices
- Coordinating room bookings, function requests,
and school calendar activities
- Researching and compiling information to support key projects and strategic initiatives
- Managing the collection and preparation of content for the school newsletter
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant with demonstrated experience providing support to senior leaders in a fast-paced environment.
You will also possess:
- Previous experience in a Senior Executive Assistant, Executive Support, or Office Management role
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading capabilities
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in working autonomously and exercising sound judgement
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using business systems and document management platforms
- Experience within an education, professional services, or complex organisational environment will be highly regarded
