Finance Analyst

About the Role

Our client is are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Finance Analyst with strong data analysis capabilities to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex financial and operational data into clear insights that support business decision-making.

The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis, while also partnering with stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy, identify trends and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards and management information to support decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and business performance.
- Work closely with finance and non-finance stakeholders to provide data-driven insights.
- Improve reporting processes and help automate manual tasks where possible.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistency across reports and systems.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting activities.

Key Requirements

- Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar analytical finance role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of data and present meaningful insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial models.




- Experience with reporting and data visualisation tools such as Power BI is highly desirable.
- Exposure to systems and tools such as SAP, SQL, Python, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, QuickBooks or Workday would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial data to a range of stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Based on general knowledge.
