About The Role

We are building our team of casual Water Metering Technicians for upcoming projects. The position offers consistent full‑time hours (38+ hours per week) and the possibility to become permanent.

We seek individuals who are independent, team‑oriented, and eager to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing – A Day in the Life

- Check your schedule each morning.
- Head out to site.
- Attend approximately 30+ residential or commercial properties per day.
- Perform field metering activities including installing/replacing meters, installing/replacing data loggers and completing metering investigations.
- Accurately record meter specifications and site data using a mobile app.
- Log each completed job on our mobile app before moving to the next.

Key Responsibilities

- Water meter replacement & assembly maintenance.
- Follow correct replacement procedures.
- Customer service – face‑to‑face and phone.
- Perform tasks within budgets and time frames.
- Communicate regularly with office support team.
- Maintain accurate and timely digital job installation records.




- Ensure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S; policies and procedures.
- Work independently day to day and to a schedule.

About You

- Strong mechanical aptitude – proficient with hand tools.
- A positive attitude, solid work ethic with a willingness to learn.
- An aptitude for problem solving.
- Attention to detail – data accuracy is essential.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work under supervision both individually and occasionally in a team setting.
- Able to do a lot of bending, squatting and walking (moderate degree of physical fitness).
- Ability to work in most weather conditions.
- Flexible and comfortable with daily travel.
- A current driver's licence.
- A red/white card.
