Function Coordinator / Supervisor | Hamilton Hotel

The Hamilton Hotel is seeking a high-energy Functions Coordinator/Supervisor to help lead our large-scale event space on the Brisbane River. This hands-on role that blends event coordination and staff supervision with administrative and marketing tasks, including social media and in-venue promotions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of events for up to 600 guests, from setup to pack-down.

We require a candidate who holds a current RSA, with at least 2 years of F&B; experience, strong leadership skills and the physical fitness to manage active event shifts. If you are a detail-oriented professional with full flexibility for days, evenings, weekends and public holidays, Apply Now!

A day in the life of a F&B; Attendant:

- Be the face of the floor, connecting with guests and making sure every visit is a memorable one.

- Share your passion for our products and recommend the perfect meal or drink to make a guest's day.

- Deliver top-notch customer service and make every interaction fun and memorable.

- From the first pour of the day to the final lock-up, you'll be on the front lines, making sure our standards are sky-high and the experience is one to remember.

- Help the gaming and wagering team when needed and legally able

Inherent requirements:

- This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries).



Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

- You’re a natural at making people feel welcome and have a knack for the little details.

- You’re a team player who is motivated to create magic for both guests and teammates.

- You have a current RSA certificate and flexible availability.

- Some gaming experience or willingness to learn would also be an asset.
