Job Description:
Key responsibilities include:
• Plan, lead and deliver testing activities across Corporate/Business Systems BAU testing and support related projects, particularly SAP/ERP systems.
• Identify testing delivery requirements including scoping and estimation for the allocated program/project.
• Test planning and preparation for BAU testing and associated minor change projects.
• Lead and coordinate all phases of BAU testing, working closely with technical, system support vendors and business teams.
• Oversee and quality assurance of vendor performed testing activities/artefacts.
• Deliver required testing activities as per the agreed test plans
• Provide advisory support and guidance to the BAU technical and business teams
• Coordinate UAT phase and provide required support to the users in UAT.
• Capture BAU testing metrics and provide test KPIs report
• Ensure testing artefacts and assets are baselined and maintained in the centralised repository for reusability, auditing and compliance purposes.
• Identify and recommend test process improvement actions.
Experience, skills, and qualifications:
• 8 years of testing experience with 3+ years test lead experience, particularly within the SAP/ERP domain.
• Experience in leading and delivery of testing within BAU change testing.
• Demonstrated experience in development of test strategies and plans
• Proven skills in test planning, estimation, resources forecasting and planning.
• Ability to effectively communicate,
build relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation including external vendors.
• Experience in supporting and leading system, SIT and UAT testing phases working closely with technical, vendor and business teams
• Test & defect management, coordination and reporting experience.
• Ability to identify and manage test environments and data requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder communication and reporting, including testing KPIs and status reporting.
• Skills and experience to review, evaluate and assess quality of testing artefacts and outputs, and provide independent assessment and recommendations.
• Experience in defining, collecting and reporting test metrics and KPIs
• Ability to identify and manage dependencies, risks and issues, and effectively manage and communicate them across both the internal and external teams
• Experience in various testing methodologies such as V -model and Agile
• Knowledge in System development lifecycle processes and the industry testing standards – IEEE 1012/29119, TMMi.
• Experience and skills in testing tools, particularly with Microfocus Application Life Cycle Management for test and defect management
• Ability to effectively communicate, engage and build stakeholder relationships
• Experience in development of action plans and providing independent recommendations to improve overall testing process and outcomes.
• Tertiary qualification in IT related discipline, preferably with formal training and certification in the testing/test management.
