Summary:

The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals at all times in aquatic environments. This role requires strong observation skills, quick decision-making abilities, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Lifeguard must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while enforcing pool rules and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment.
- Supervise swimmers and enforce pool rules and regulations.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents.
- Perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and report any issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and pool usage.




- Assist in the setup and breakdown of pool equipment and facilities.
- Participate in ongoing training and certifications to stay updated on safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- Valid Lifeguard certification from a recognized organization.
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues.
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform duties effectively.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous lifeguarding experience is preferred but not required.
