About us
Country Home Services is a not-for-profit that has delivered innovative, accessible home care for over 35 years across the Yorke Peninsula, Clare, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Plains, and the Mid and Lower North.
We’re seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and flexible Scheduling Coordinator to help ensure accurate allocation of services to our regional clients. Our Scheduling team is passionate about delivering quality services that improve our clients’ lives.
About the role
You’ll schedule community Home Care Workers, balancing client needs and preferences, geographic location and service type — enabling us to deliver high-quality aged care in the community.
This role is based in our Nuriootpa office. Shifts are rostered across a variety of times between 7:00am and 6:00pm, 7 days a week, and you’ll need to be available across the full span of these hours, including weekends.
What you’ll do
- Schedule Home Care Workers according to client preference and worker availability
- Coordinate replacement workers for planned and unplanned leave
- Update Care Worker availability and monitor unallocated shifts to ensure coverage as quickly as possible
- Analyse worker availability against client requirements to make the most efficient use of resources
- Monitor, manage and action notifications from Care Partners and Home Care Workers
- Provide excellent customer service on our dedicated Scheduling Phone Line
What you’ll bring
Essential
- Availability to work shifts across the full 7:00am–6:00pm span, 7 days a week, including weekends
- Ability to work on site at our Nuriootpa office
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability or Community Services) or higher
- A valid police check with aged care stated as the purpose or NDIS worker check (or a willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience scheduling and allocating Home Care Workers
- Experience with rostering software
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced workplace
- Excellent written, verbal and listening communication, and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage your time and workload independently while collaborating in a team
- An empathetic approach to working with our clients and team members
Desirable
- Visual Care knowledge
- Experience in the aged care sector
