About the role

This is a dual leadership position. As Assistant Centre Manager, you’ll support the Centre Director in the day-to-day running of the service. As Educational Leader, you’ll guide and mentor our team to deliver an inspiring, evidence-based curriculum.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the overall management and smooth daily operation of the centre
- Leading, mentoring, and inspiring educators to deliver exceptional learning programs aligned with the EYLF and VEYLF
- Guiding curriculum development, documentation, and reflective practice across all rooms
- Building genuine, trusting partnerships with families
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, regulations, and policies
- Stepping into the Centre Manager role in their absence
- Fostering a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture

What we’re looking for

- A Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or 2IC role within early childhood
- Strong working knowledge of the NQF, EYLF,



VEYLF and Education and Care Services National Regulations
- A current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications
- Completion of National Child Safety Training – Foundations module
- National Police Check
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine love for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous improvement
