We’re looking for a friendly, community‑spirited driver to help our HammondCare Scone residents enjoy short, cheerful outings around town. You’ll be behind the wheel of our mini‑bus (C Class licence required), supported by a dedicated care team who assist residents with getting on and off the bus and looking after their care needs.

If you love meeting people, enjoy a good chat, and want to make someone’s day a little brighter, this role brings connection, purpose, and plenty of smiles.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Requirements

Bus trips generally run for 1-2 hours between 930-1130am and 1-3pm, we can discuss a suitable day of the week or fortnight that suits your availability.

18 years or older • Safe driving record and full C Class drivers licence • NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
