Weâre looking for a friendly Social Volunteer who loves fresh air, gentle movement, and good company. This role is all about spending relaxed time outdoors with residents, enjoying the gardens, pathways, and peaceful surroundings.
As you stroll together, youâll be helping to support residentsâ mobility, wellbeing, and confidence â all through lightâpaced, social walking. Thereâs no fitness level required; itâs simply about being present, encouraging, and creating a calm, enjoyable outing.
If you enjoy meaningful conversation, nature, and making someoneâs day a little brighter, this is a beautiful way to give back.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring outstanding joy to the clients you are matched with.
