Surgery Vet Nurse - Part-time

- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care
- Monitor patients during surgery and recovery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
- Administer medications and follow established protocols
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

- Cert IV qualified Nurse
- Proven experience in veterinary surgical nursing, with a minimum of 2 years' experience
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols




- Proficiency in anaesthesia monitoring and sterile technique
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Excellent patient care skills, including pre- and post-operative management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with pet owners and veterinary staff
- Familiarity with veterinary medical equipment and surgical instruments, including their maintenance and sterilisation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
