We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who enjoys getting stuck into a challenge and keeping plant and production equipment running at its best.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same. You’ll be troubleshooting faults, carrying out preventative maintenance and working closely with the production team to keep downtime to a minimum.
What you’ll be doing
- Keeping fixed plant and production equipment running smoothly
- Tackling breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance
- Finding and fixing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
- Using your problem-solving skills to get equipment back up and running
- Completing maintenance work safely and to a high standard
- Keeping accurate records of repairs and maintenance
- Working with the production team to prevent unnecessary downtime
What you’ll bring
- Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
- EWP, Working at Heights and LF Forklift licences
- Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Welding experience
- A strong focus on safety
- Valuable organisation and time management
- Great communication skills and a team-first attitude
Bonus points
- Experience with a CMMS or asset management system
- Restricted Electrical Licence
