Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel is excited to expand our housekeeping department and are currently looking for a Night Common Area Cleaner.

The Housekeeping department is integral to ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining productivity, and upholding the high standards of cleanliness and presentation set by Minor Hotels. The Common Area Cleaner involves servicing, cleaning, and maintaining shared guest areas throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Cleaning and maintaining all common guest areas to the highest standards, ensuring all areas are always hygienic and visually appealing.
- Assisting with after-hours guest enquiries, addressing issues promptly, and occasionally supporting late check-ins.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
- Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.




- Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
- Building strong, skilled relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Shift Details (subject to change):

- Part-time position x 5 shifts per week
- Wednesday through to Sunday nights
- 10.30pm - 6.00am
(shifts may change depending on business requirements)

This is a dual role, where you will be will also be assisting with guest queries after hours (on occasions).

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $26.44 per hour + penalties
Saturday: $33.05 per hour + penalties
Sunday: $39.66 per hour + penalties
