We're searching for an enthusiastic an Early Childhood Teacher/ Educational Leader to join our team in Lathlain.

Studio 64 Early Learning and Kindergarten

Studio 64 is one of the first in Australia to offer hubs that assist parents balance their work and childcare commitments by offering flexible work space and exceptional early learning centres for children all in the one place. The centres offer long day care and casual care to give parents additional flexibility. Designed with busy parents in mind, other services on site include mobile hair and beauty, grocery delivery, and more.

About the Role

You will be employed as our Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), Room Leader for our younger room, and Centre Educational Leader. In this pivotal leadership role, you will support the service by driving educational excellence, mentoring and coaching educators, and ensuring our curriculum reflects best practice.

Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will lead curriculum development, inspire reflective practice, support quality improvement initiatives, and foster a positive culture of continuous learning. You will confidently guide your team to deliver exceptional outcomes for children while maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework, EYLF and all relevant legislation.

Key Duties:

Leading the educational program as the Centre Educational Leader,



inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

1. Fulfil the responsibilities of the Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) in accordance with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

2. Lead the younger room, supporting children, families and educators to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning workplace.

3. Mentor, coach and support educators to strengthen curriculum planning, documentation, critical reflection and teaching practices.

4. Guide educators in implementing meaningful learning experiences that are responsive to children's interests, strengths and developmental needs.

5. Drive continuous improvement by leading the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), reflective practice and quality initiatives.

6. Ensure all curriculum documentation is of a high standard and meets regulatory requirements.

7. Support educators to confidently use observations, planning cycles and assessment to inform children's learning.

8. Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, educators and the wider community.

9. Promote a positive, collaborative and professional team culture.

10. Assist our manager in organising & implementing events.

11. Model best practice in child protection, health and safety, inclusion and behaviour guidance.

12. Help our team to critically reflect on our practice and provide opportunities to support our educators within their roles.
