AMC Architecture is an award-winning, highly respected Canberra-based architectural and interior design firm. We are a fast-paced, collaborative and agile design studio with a diverse interiors portfolio spanning commercial, hospitality, health, retirement living/aged care and residential projects for Government, institutional and private sector clients in the ACT, across Australia and internationally. With a focus on providing a higher level of client service, we achieve holistic and innovative design outcomes through the integration of architectural and interior design inputs across the design, documentation and delivery processes.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced documentation professional with a background in interior design or architectural projects with 5-10 years experience to join our friendly team. With several projects underway and a strong pipeline of future work you will assist in design development and the preparation of technical documentation to support the delivery of a diverse range of interior design projects ranging in scale and complexity.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assist and/or lead the preparation of detailed design,



tender and construction documentation packages

- Collaborate with project team members to develop concise, accurate and high-quality design documentation in accordance with legislative requirements and in line with AMC’s quality management system

- Liaise effectively with key stakeholders throughout the delivery of projects including the client, subconsultants and building contractors, as required.

Experience + Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in interior design, architecture, building design or drafting

- 5-10 years industry experience

- Proficiency in Revit (essential)

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (desirable)

- Good written and oral communication skills

- Previous experience with commercial and workplace projects

- Strong technical and documentation skills.

- Applicants must be locally based and able to work on-site in our Canberra studio.
