Restaurant and Bar Manager | Daintree, QLD

About the Role

Silky Oaks Lodge is seeking a Restaurant and Bar Manager to lead our Food & Beverage team and deliver an exceptional dining and beverage experience nestled in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest.

In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, guiding guests through a relaxed yet refined experience while ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation and attention to detail. You will work closely with the kitchen and leadership team to create a seamless and memorable guest journey, from breakfast through to evening service.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and developing the Food & Beverage team
- Overseeing restaurant and bar operations, including rostering and service flow
- Delivering a high quality, personalised dining and beverage experience
- Managing beverage lists, including wine and cocktail offerings
- Maintaining exceptional service and presentation standards
- Monitoring labour and operational costs
- Ensuring compliance with responsible service of alcohol requirements

About You

You are a passionate and experienced hospitality leader with a genuine love for food, wine and guest experience. You thrive in a premium environment and enjoy developing high performing teams.

You will ideally have:

- Experience in a Restaurant Manager,



Bar Manager or senior F&B; leadership role
- Solid leadership and team development skills
- Sound knowledge of wine, cocktails and beverage service
- A passion for guest service and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Current Australian working rights
