Electrical Supervisor | Defence Infrastructure | Garden Island
Up to $95/hr | Temp to Perm Opportunities | 18-Month Project | 10.5 Hour Days

We're recruiting experienced Electrical Supervisors to join a major defence infrastructure project at Garden Island (south of the river). This is an outstanding opportunity to work on a long-term defence upgrade with up to 18 months of secured work, followed by additional project scopes.
Offering up to $95 per hour, this role has genuine temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidate.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for supervising electrical installation works, coordinating site crews and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
The project involves the upgrade of existing wharf infrastructure, including:

- High Voltage (HV) electrical infrastructure
- Low Voltage (LV) installations
- Underground conduits and cable reticulation
- Switchroom construction and upgrades
- Testing and commissioning works

You'll work closely with the project delivery team to ensure works are completed efficiently while maintaining strict HSEQ and Defence compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily electrical construction activities on site.
- Coordinate electrical trades and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and resolve site issues proactively.
- Ensure works comply with project specifications, quality requirements and programme.




- Promote and maintain exceptional safety standards.
- Assist with planning, resource allocation and project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal project teams.

About You

- WA Electrical Workers Licence.
- Current White Card.
- Current LVR/CPR.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Previous experience supervising electrical construction projects.
- Solid understanding of HSEQ requirements.
- S26 Statutory Supervisor ticket highly desirable.
- High Voltage installation experience highly regarded.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
- Previous Defence or high-security project experience advantageous.

Essential Requirements

- Australian Citizenship is essential (Permanent Residents may also be considered).
- Candidates requiring visa sponsorship or holding temporary visas will not be considered.
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance.
