Your role at St John of God Ballarat

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Grade 1 Physiotherapist to join our friendly and dynamic Exercise Rehabilitation Unit on a permanent full-time basis.

As an integral member of our Allied Health team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to hospital inpatients, working collaboratively with patients and the multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes.

The Position

In this role, you will:

- Provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions for patients and clients, including hydrotherapy treatments where appropriate.

- Apply a patient-centred approach to develop individualised physiotherapy goals and treatment plans in partnership with patients.

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with multidisciplinary colleagues, internal teams and external stakeholders.





- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to collaborative patient care planning.

- Utilise evidence-based patient outcome measures, patient feedback and quality assurance activities to support continuous improvement.

- Participate in the physiotherapy department's weekend roster, where required.

- Contribute to the education and supervision of students and support education and training programs as requested.

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and practice in accordance with professional standards, organisational policies and relevant legislation.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).

- Experience, or a strong interest, in delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions within a clinical setting.

- Experience or an interest in hydrotherapy will be highly regarded.

- Robust clinical reasoning and assessment skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- A commitment to patient-centred care, professional development and continuous improvement.

- Postgraduate qualifications or further study in a relevant area will be highly regarded..

- Salary - $72,992 to $117,553 plus 12% Superannuation
