The BOS team have an internal expression of interest for a Senior Program Officer to join the team. You will have an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of strategic and high-impact projects that contribute to meaningful organisational outcomes.
Reporting to the Manager, PMO & Governance, you will play a key role in strengthening project delivery through effective governance, reporting, financial oversight and continuous improvement. Working closely with project teams, stakeholders and senior leaders, you'll provide the frameworks, insights and support needed to deliver successful outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with PMO, project governance or program delivery experience who enjoy analysing information, improving processes and supporting the successful delivery of complex initiatives.
About You
You will bring:
- Experience in a PMO, project governance, project management or portfolio delivery environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks and delivery best practice.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong analytical,
problem-solving and reporting capabilities.
- Experience supporting project governance, reporting, financial management and decision-making processes.
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear insights.
- Experience with vendor, contract or procurement management will be highly regarded.
- A proactive, collaborative and outcomes-focused approach with a passion for organisational improvement and successful project delivery.
Essential requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline, with preferred professional certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) that demonstrates advanced competency in project delivery frameworks and methodologies.
