Carbone Lawyers is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team in Melbourne. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment. As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our legal team and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Your main tasks will include:

- Assisting with legal research, document preparation, and case management
- Managing client communications and appointments
- Handling administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
- Supporting lawyers in court preparation and attending hearings when required
- Collaborating with internal teams to facilitate efficient workflow and client service

Skills And Experiences





You will have previous experience in a similar role with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. You will also have:

- Excellent knowledge of legal terminology and procedures, particularly within personal injury law
- Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in using MS Office and legal research databases
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines
- An understanding of confidentiality obligations and the ethical standards of the legal profession
- A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
