We are looking for an experienced, capable and motivated Master to join our Marine Operations Team. This is a key leadership role where accountability, judgement and the way you lead your crew matter just as much as your vessel handling skills.
Key responsibilities
- Safe command, navigation and operation of Quicksilver vessels
- Lead, supervise and coordinate vessel crew
- Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and vessel readiness
- Make sound decisions in changing seas, weather and operational conditions
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Dive Crew and Cruise Attendants
- Maintain the safety of passengers and crew by ensuring safe operations, current manuals and trained staff
- Deliver an exceptional and professional guest experience
- Lead emergency responses for medical, mechanical,
environmental and passenger-related incidents
About you
You will qualifications and experience will include:
- Master IV <35 or Master <45m Near Coastal or above (essential)
- Current CPR (HLTAID009) and Current First Aid (HLTAID011) (essential)
- Solid leadership and communications skills (essential)
- Sound judgment and calm decision making under pressure
We operate 7 days a week, and weekend and public holiday work is an expected part of this position. Applicants must be available to work a flexible roster around operational requirements.
