About the Opportunity
Are you a Registered or Enrolled Nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity in Renal healthcare or interested in expanding your skills? Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is seeking motivated Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our Renal Nursing Team based in Griffith.
Australian Working Rights Required and No Visa Sponsorship available.
As the Registered Nurse, you will:
- Assess patients and deliver safe, individualised nursing care
- Develop, implement, review and document care plans
- Monitor patient progress and respond to clinical changes
- Involve and educate patients and carers in care decisions
- Coordinate discharge and transitions of care
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accountability and contribute to quality improvement

As the Enrolled Nurse, you will:
- Provide safe,
evidence-based nursing care under the direction of an RN/RM
- Assess patients, identify nursing needs, and contribute to individualised care plans
- Deliver and document nursing care, monitoring patient progress and reporting changes
- Educate and support patients and carers to promote informed decision-making
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support safe discharge and continuity of care
- Practise within scope, maintain accountability, and seek guidance when required
- Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build therapeutic relationships with individuals, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and evaluate person-centred care plans, and deliver secure, evidence-based nursing care.
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care setting and demonstrated experience or interest in renal nursing, with experience and skill in venipuncture and cannulation experience.
