Established in 1871, the Art Gallery of New South Wales is located in Sydney’s The Domain adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden and near the Central Business District, the Gallery acknowledges the original custodians of this land – the Gadigal people.

The Art Gallery attracts around 2 million visitors annually and runs Australia’s largest education program with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year.

With our expanded campus the Art Gallery has a current state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved building. Providing us with close to double the exhibition space, the expanded Art Gallery enables us to share more art with more people and provide more family, learning and educational programming for all our audiences.

About the Role
The Senior Administration Coordinator oversees the timely and effective provision of administrative and support services to facilitate the delivery of a range of services, programs, policies and projects at the Art Gallery.

What Technical/Soft Skills you require

1. Demonstrated experience in managing a variety of administrative functions and delivering outcomes on time and on budget.
2.



Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and managing changes to administrative processes, systems and policies.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with people management skills and strong stakeholder management skills.

Targeted Questions

1. This role requires managing competing priorities and a high-volume workload while meeting strict deadlines. How do you organise your tasks to ensure compliance with required policies and time frames? (maximum 300 words)
2. Managing records accurately is critical in this role. How do you ensure records are maintained through corporate records management systems in full compliance with legislation, policies and procedures? (maximum 300 words)
