As part of its next phase of growth, Global Lithium has entered into an agreement to acquire the Nova Operation, including an existing processing plant and extensive operating infrastructure. This transformational acquisition has the potential to significantly reduce development capital, accelerate first production and establish an integrated mine-to-processing business, positioning GL1 to become one of Western Australia's next lithium producers.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Long-Term Planning Engineer to join the project team at a pivotal stage, as GL1 advances the Manna Lithium Project.

This role operates on a hybrid basis, split between our contemporary West Perth office and the Manna Lithium Project. A competitive remuneration package is on offer,

Reporting directly to the General Manager – Technical Services, this role will be responsible for providing life of mine and long-term planning support for the Manna DSO operation from Perth, developing strategic schedules, pit optimisations and reserve plans that guide the phased mining program.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain the life of mine schedule and pit optimisation.

- Model production scenarios to support project and board decision-making.

- Prepare strategic mine designs and staging plans.

- Support reserve estimation and resource-to-reserve conversion.

- Provide planning inputs to cost and cashflow models.

The Ideal Candidate

- A Degree in Mining Engineering.

- 6+ years' strategic or long-term mine planning experience in open pit operations.

- Expert-level proficiency in Whittle, Deswik or equivalent pit optimisation and scheduling tools.

- Demonstrated experience developing life of mine schedules and modelling production scenarios to support project and investment decisions.

- Experience supporting Ore Reserve estimation and resource-to-reserve conversion, with a working understanding of JORC reporting requirements.

- Ability to translate mine plans into cost and cashflow model inputs.
