About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sketch Draftsperson to join our New Homes Design team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate and compliant sales sketches and design variations that support the early stages of the building journey.

Working closely with New Home Consultants and internal stakeholders, you’ll translate client requirements and sales concepts into practical, buildable designs. You’ll play a key role in ensuring designs align with National Construction Code (NCC), R-Codes, and Summit’s building standards, while maintaining efficiency and quality.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, functional designs that bring client visions to life.

About You

You’re a technically strong and detail-driven Draftsperson with a passion for residential design. With solid experience in Archicad and a robust understanding of construction methods, you’re confident producing accurate, compliant drawings that meet both client expectations and regulatory requirements.

You’re highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, and take ownership of your work to ensure deadlines are met. Your strong communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clarify design briefs, and resolve technical challenges.

You bring a proactive mindset, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a genuine interest in contributing to innovative and practical home design solutions.
