At Alcolizer Technology, we are leaders in the design, manufacture and servicing of alcohol and drug testing equipment across Australia and internationally. We are currently looking for a Handheld Service Technician to join our team and support our growing service operations.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role responsible for diagnosing, calibrating, repairing and maintaining handheld devices within the Alcolizer product portfolio. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our customers receive high-quality, timely service while supporting the wider service team.
This role suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with technology, and taking ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct servicing, repairs and calibrations of handheld instruments
- Diagnose faults and triage incoming devices
- Prepare quotes for servicing and calibration work
- Ensure turnaround times are met in line with company expectations
- Accurately record all service work in internal systems
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email
- Provide remote troubleshooting support where possible
- Process payments and raise invoices
- Follow documented procedures and quality standards
About You
- Previous experience in a service, technical or repair environment
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
- Able to work independently while also contributing to a team
- Willingness to learn and develop within a technical environment
Requirement:
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol test as part of the onboarding process.
