RC Drillers – Trainee, Relief & Senior

Strike Drilling is a leading Australian mineral exploration drilling contractor specialising in Reverse Circulation (RC) and Air Core drilling services.

Due to continued growth, we're seeking motivated Trainee, Relief and Senior RC Drillers to join our team. With projects across Western Australia and the East Coast, our work includes a diverse mix of mine site and remote exploration operations, including caravan-based exploration work.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for motivated and safety-focused RC Drillers who take pride in their work and enjoy working as part of a high-performing crew.

Whether you're an experienced Senior Driller, a Relief Driller ready to take the next step, or a Trainee looking to build a long-term career in drilling,



we'd love to hear from you. We also welcome applications from experienced drillers from other disciplines who are interested in transitioning to RC drilling.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Experience in Reverse Circulation (RC), Air Core and/or Grade Control drilling.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in the field.

- The ability to communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors and clients.

- A strong commitment to safety and leading by example.

- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support your crew.

- The ability to think clearly, make sound decisions and perform in remote operational environments.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

- Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver's Licence or higher.

- Current First Aid Certificate.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

- National Police Clearance (issued within the last six months).

- Flexibility to work across both mine site and remote exploration projects.

Highly Regarded

- Experience operating Schramm T450, T685, KWL700 or DRA600 drill rigs.

- Certificate III or higher in Drilling Operations.
