An experienced Excavator Operator role working on civil drainage projects across the Central Coast. This is an excellent prospect for a skilled operator who takes pride in their work and has experience with drainage, trenching and underground services.
Key responsibilities
- Operating excavators on drainage projects
- Trenching for stormwater and sewer
- Excavating and preparing pipe trenches
- Pipe bedding and backfilling
- Working around existing underground services
- Detailed excavation around pits, pipes and structures
- Loading and moving materials
- Assisting the drainage crew when required
- Maintaining machinery and completing daily pre-starts
- Working safely and efficiently on active construction sites
About you
- 10 year's excavator operating experience
- Experience in general earthworks, civil drainage and/or pipe laying
- Can accurately dig trenches to required levels and grades
