About the role
PSA Construction Pty Ltd are seeking skilled and Experienced Carpenters to join our dynamic team in Bunbury, WA. Causal and full-time positions available, offering an excellent opportunity to work on diverse construction projects in the building trades sector. You will be based in Bunbury, working on-site at various project locations around the South West. This role is integral to our construction operations, where you will contribute your expertise to deliver high-quality carpentry work that meets our clients' specifications and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

- Accurately measuring, marking and cutting timber and other materials to specification using hand tools and power tools

- Constructing and installing wooden frameworks, including wall studs, roof trusses and floor joists

- Fitting and installing doors, windows, skirting boards and other timber fixtures

- Preparing and finishing timber surfaces through sanding, staining and varnishing

- Reading and interpreting architectural plans and construction drawings to ensure work meets project requirements

- Inspecting completed work to verify quality and compliance with building standards and safety regulations

- Collaborating with other tradespeople, supervisors and site managers to ensure efficient project completion

- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order and following safe work practices on site

- Adhering to all workplace health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols

What we're looking for

- A recognised carpentry qualification and minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar roles.





- Proven experience working as a carpenter on residential, commercial or industrial construction projects

- Proficiency with both hand tools and power tools, including saws, chisels, drills, nail guns and sanders

- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings accurately

- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards and best practices in the construction industry

- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering work to high quality standards

- Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including working at heights and in various weather conditions

- Reliable and professional attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills

- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one

- Preferred experience in carpentry on domestic and commercial fit-outs, formwork or framing is advantageous
