Corporate Landscape Services (CLS) is a growing commercial landscaping and environmental services company operating across South East Queensland.

We are looking for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Leading Hand to join our team on the Sunshine Coast.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in their work, sets high standards and genuinely enjoys helping other people develop.

The Role

Working closely with our Landscape Maintenance Supervisor and Project Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day delivery of our Council landscape maintenance contracts.

You will be responsible for helping your crew understand what needs to be achieved, setting expectations around quality and productivity, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You will also play an important role in developing the people around you.

We have emerging talent within CLS and want our Leading Hands to be leaders that the next generation can learn from — sharing knowledge, providing constructive feedback and helping people build confidence and capability.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and work alongside a Landscape Maintenance crew.Coordinate daily tasks and site priorities.Set clear expectations around quality, productivity, safety and presentation.Ensure scheduled works are completed efficiently and to client requirements.Support,



coach and develop less experienced team members.Share knowledge and practical skills with apprentices and emerging leaders.Conduct quality checks and address issues before leaving site.Promote protected work practices and ensure WHS requirements are followed.Identify and communicate site issues, hazards, delays or opportunities for improvement.Support accurate site documentation and completion reporting.Care for company vehicles, machinery, tools and equipment.Communicate professionally with clients, residents and members of the public.Work closely with Supervisors and Project Managers to continuously improve how we deliver our work.

Experience & Qualifications

Ideally, you will have:





Strong experience in commercial landscape maintenance.Previous Leading Hand, Team Leader or supervisory experience.Certificate III in Parks & Gardens, Horticulture or similar.Current Driver's Licence.White Card.ACDC LicenceTraffic Management qualifications – advantageous.Experience operating commercial landscape maintenance machinery and equipment.Experience working on Council or large commercial maintenance contracts – advantageous.Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

We are also open to hearing from experienced landscape professionals who may not currently hold a Leading Hand title but can demonstrate the maturity, capability and attitude required to step into leadership.

Employment Type

This position will initially be offered on a casual basis, with the prospect to transition to permanent full-time employment following a successful probationary period, based on performance, suitability and mutual agreement.
